What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. If you're a Resource Provider, we also collect your business address, description, and profile/cover images. As you use EcoResQ, we record the reservations you make, the resources you favorite, any contributions you make, and notifications sent to you.
Why we collect it
We use this information to operate the core functions of EcoResQ — creating your account, processing reservations and payments, recording contributions, and sending you notifications about your orders. This processing is necessary to provide the service you've asked for, rather than something we ask separate permission for each time.
How long we keep it, and what happens if you delete your account
If you request account deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can restore it simply by logging back in. After 30 days, we remove your name, email, phone number, and photo from our systems. We keep your reservation, payment, and contribution history in an anonymised form — this lets us maintain accurate financial and environmental-impact records without being able to identify you personally.
Your rights
You can download a copy of your data, or request that your account be deleted, at any time from your Profile page.
